 I want to convey the thrill of going to the movie theaters like the thrill of reclaiming one's life from abuse. This also means not allowing people to mistreat you. 

 I put together how the healer archetype joins the outcase archetype to create the wounded healer.

Wounded healer archetype

 The wounded healer archetype in Good Will Hunting, he's wounded by Will's words and then he realizes that will hasn't had the experiences that he's talking about, that the wounded healer archetype and then draw on his experiences to help the wounded. The Healer archetype is a set of the same attributes, but the wounded healer can draw on their own personal woundedness and knowing that out of the selflessness to help others to try to actually also heal themselves and also heals themselves. But it's not egotistical to heal oneself it's the wound that makes a deep empathy that you not want other people to suffer as you have. The wounded healer has taken the time to heal themselves from healer archetypes then can become the wounded healer for others

why the plan is only a plan

 Today, I was sluggish in writing about the outsider. Luckily, I had a book On Belonging by Kim Samuel, which devotes a chapter to the Hero's Journey. I get that aha moment, that the HJ is about leaving safety for change, that social isolation is a feeling. It coincides with needing to select my books for Fantasy. So in Fantasy, the HJ shows us we are not alone, even when going to Mordor.

 I then went to my Labrynth writing, to also mention how Sarah's lonliness was through gaslighting

Then I went into domestic violence writing and I was on a roll!  

Leaning into the outcast

 I caught myself wanting to write about the different syllabi I've had with film classes, but then I realized that's another book. I want to concentrate on the healing self-care transformative part.

So now I'm leaning into the outsider, the outlier, the outcast

I'm also leaning into bad movies and how you can love some

I'm guessing in October I'll switch over to the horror genre in examining why people love horror movies

 I've realized, I should just write about the movies that I love. I mean there's so many that I want to include in the book. So this might be another way to think about which movies would fall into which categories. I mean school of rock is definitely one of those anti-authoritarian films, a feel-good film for teenagers, similar to Kings of summer.

I need to get to the point where I can just say movie, people behind the movie, Cinema therapy value

Alamo

 This is a note to look for any of the Alamo Drafthouse writing I did, and then also include the movies I had seen and what times. I just feel like I did biting about it but so it must be in a Word document somewhere.

I also need to update the edits that bill sent me for gauge four and then also send him the projectionist writing. I should also use that video I found about the projectionist as well as sprinkle in things about it being an archetype. Of course this will include screen land.

Gage 4 finished (almost)

 Bill Schaefer is going over some of the facts in my essay about Gage 4.

I really want to finish Ferris Bueller's Day Off to get that essay done as in watch the rest of it.

Then I might finish the fast food part. I really want to get down the way to format my cinema therapy suggestions. And I'll use that as a constant.

I also want to interview Laura about the movies that have made a difference in her life.

Work for today

 I did revisions for summer, but now I only want to watch Kings of summer, set up how I will talk about movies, and then also incorporate some of the things from the books.

Part of me does want to include movie dialogue and then just worry about the get copyrights later
