This book I picked up about 12 movies and the search for deeper spirituality is like the book I was waiting for. It's really helped me to look at a way I can approach my year of writing. It also shows me that my second book might be one about superheroes in the search for truth, justice, and healing
And that would be a really amazing to have that second book in the works as I'm finishing my first
Wow it's true that sabbaticals really help with writing. I'm finding it really difficult to get back to any of the previous writing I've done. However, I have a good plan.
John Lyden is amazing. I think about all of those courses in theory that I took. He summed up what I should do as a revision for my Batman paper. Alongside that, he gave me a good head start and what I should look at. He gave great suggestions about what I should cut out and what I should work on. I can only think of a couple of other professors, you know who you are, who did ask me to meet with them outside of class so I could look over my work with them. This kind of amazing scholar is just what we need in the world.
And he asked me to write the film review for bone Temple. So I'm going to work on that first because it's due midMarch.
I think I might also send a piece out somewhere about movies and the romance genre. I need to add more about masculinity. But I really want to enjoy how I see myself in the two characters of Eternal sunshine, the flip sides of ADHD personality.
Well I want to be good to myself. Things Are less anxious as they were. Of course it's week four. I still have that planning ahead to do. But a lot of the things I'm laying down right now I want to make sure are going to be reused in the classes I teach.
