I can't say enough, I am feeling the same urge to write new material, as well as develop how to piece together soe of the fragments I wrote last year in a new way.
Is it because of summer? I need to keep summer alive if it means this level of writing.
I also want to make sure I will have time to get this done.
In the Fall, a 9am class means I can arrive on campus and prepare for the day at 7am. Maybe the afternoon will be of assessments?
This book is one of the best "experiments" I have attempted. By giving myself the time to accomplish, I feel I can create the best possible. I hear of others needing to crank out their book post-contract, and maybe that works, too? I want to explore if it does. I want to ask them.
For me, it is finding the level of engagement without anxiety. That I know I am revising now, before I show the draft.
How embarassing! I should have sent Emily a description of my book ahead of time before speaking through zoom. They are so generous and gracious, though, to talk about getting my elevator pitch ready. To change the name of the book.
